The global spread of COVID-19 is affecting every one of us. The situation is evolving hourly. Slowing the spread of the virus requires all of our care, and all of our participation. Today, government and medical advisors are asking all Canadians to take stronger measures to contain the spread of the virus. We have been advised that we can flatten the curve of coronavirus by taking further disciplined steps to protect ourselves, our families and our communities by being more mindful of hand hygiene, through social distancing and voluntary isolation. As rates of new infections continue to grow we’re taking steps to protect our staff and clients.
We will keep our in-person interactions with you to a minimum. In-person meetings will only take place when scheduled ahead of time and when absolutely necessary. If possible, please send information to us electronically if you know who normally works on your file. Email addresses for all staff are copied on this email. If you have documents to drop off, please leave them on the table located to the right of the door as you enter the office. Please ensure that current contact information (phone number and/or e-mail address) is included in your package. Once your return has been finalized you will be contacted via e-mail with the necessary authorization forms attached for you to sign. They will then be returned to us either via e-mail or Canada Post. If you do not have e-mail then the forms will be sent by post.
Staff will be working from home as much as possible. We have remote access to all our files and software. For those clients where my staff go to your office we will be limiting those visits as much as possible. Where possible we will establish remote access to your computers using TeamViewer. Staff will contact you to set that up when it is required.
We thank you for understanding and patience during these extraordinary times.
